Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Korbee, a workspace for touring artists, managers, accountants, and the people who back them. "Korbee", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the company that operates the service (the "Company"). "You" refers to the person who creates an Korbee account.
By creating an account, accessing the platform, or clicking "I agree", you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Korbee.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. If you use Korbee on behalf of an organisation (a label, agency, or band), you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. Account & security
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us at security@korbee.app immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We may require identity verification for high-risk actions (e-signatures, payouts, billing changes).
- One human per account. Sharing logins between people is a Terms violation — invite collaborators as team members instead.
3. The service
Korbee gives touring artists and their teams one workspace for bookings, contracts, invoices, contacts, files, tasks, calendars, e-signatures, and team communication. Specific features may change over time. Material reductions to features included in your plan will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance.
4. Free trial & subscription
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature included in the Pro plan. No payment card is required to start the trial.
- To keep using Korbee after the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan via Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you chose) until you cancel.
- Prices are shown on the Billing page and at checkout. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; price changes do not apply to a billing period you have already paid for.
- You can cancel at any time from /billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
- Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you upload, write, or create in Korbee ("Your Content") — contracts, contacts, files, messages, track masters, splitsheets, photos, everything.
You grant Korbee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, transmit, display, and process Your Content solely to operate the service for you and the team members you invite. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for backups retained for the periods listed in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that Your Content does not infringe anyone's rights and that you have the right to share it with the team members you invite.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Korbee to:
- Break the law or facilitate illegal activity.
- Upload malware, scrape the platform, probe for vulnerabilities (other than via our security disclosure address), or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Send spam, harass, threaten, or impersonate other people via Korbee's messaging, booker form, or e-signature features.
- Resell, sublicense, or expose Korbee to third parties as your own product (no white-labelling without a written agreement).
- Train machine-learning models on data you do not own or that you obtained from other Korbee users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Where the violation is severe (security, abuse, fraud), suspension may be immediate.
7. E-signatures
Korbee's in-house e-signature feature is intended for routine music industry agreements (booking, performance, splitsheets, NDAs, synchronisation, brand deals). It is not legal advice. The validity of an e-signature depends on the jurisdiction and document type; for high-stakes agreements, consult a lawyer. We provide signed PDFs with a tamper-evident audit trail; we do not act as a certified trust service provider under eIDAS.
8. Public booking pages
When you publish a public booking link, anyone with the link can submit a booking inquiry that creates a project, draft contract, and draft invoice in your workspace. You are responsible for reviewing inquiries before accepting them or sending contracts.
9. AI features
Some features (contract template suggestions, draft replies, stats narratives) use third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic). We do not allow these providers to train models on your inputs. AI outputs are suggestions — review them before sending. Korbee is not liable for decisions you take based on an AI suggestion you did not review.
10. Third-party services
Korbee integrates with services you choose to connect (Google, Apple, Stripe, social platforms, calendar providers). Their terms apply when you use them. We are not responsible for outages or changes by third-party providers.
11. Beta & preview features
We sometimes release features marked "beta" or "preview". They may change, break, or be removed without notice. Don't rely on them for mission-critical workflows.
12. Suspension & termination
- You can close your account any time from /settings. We will delete your data per our Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay, or pose a security risk. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first.
- On termination by either party, your access to the workspace ends. Export the data you need before that point.
13. Warranty disclaimer
Korbee is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or that any specific bookings, revenue, or business outcomes will result from using it.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Korbee's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost bookings, lost data (where caused by factors outside our reasonable control), or reputational harm.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations — they apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Korbee against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from (a) Your Content, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right (including a contract you sent through Korbee's e-signature feature).
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will email active accounts at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Korbee after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms; if you don't, cancel before they take effect.
17. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your home country grant you a different forum.
18. Miscellaneous
- If any clause is unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect.
- Failure to enforce a clause is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
- You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Korbee regarding the service.
